RAZO (Rise Above Zero) is a civic-tech educational platform based in Maharashtra, India. We provide online courses, AI-powered learning tools, and digital resources focused on leadership, governance, communication, and village development for Indian youth.

02Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account, accessing courses, or using any RAZO service, you confirm that:

• You have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms and Conditions
• You are at least 13 years old (or have parental/guardian consent if between 13–18 years)
• You have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement
• All information you provide is accurate and complete

03Account Registration & Security

To access RAZO services, you must create an account. You agree to:

• Provide accurate, current, and complete registration information
• Maintain the security of your password and account credentials
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access or security breach
• Be responsible for all activities under your account
• Not share your account with others or transfer your account without permission
• Keep your email address and mobile number updated

RAZO reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that provide false information or engage in suspicious activity.

04Eligibility

• Age Requirement: You must be at least 13 years old to use RAZO
• Minors (13–18 years): Must have parental/guardian consent and supervision
• Geographic Availability: RAZO services are available to users in India. We may expand to other countries in the future
• Legal Capacity: You must have the legal right to enter into contracts in your jurisdiction

05Services We Provide

RAZO provides the following services:

• Free Courses: Educational content available at no cost
• Paid Courses: Premium educational content requiring one-time payment (lifetime access)
• RAZO AI: AI-powered learning assistant for doubts and guidance
• Quizzes & Assessments: Interactive learning tools to track progress
• Certificates: Completion certificates for finished courses
• Community Features: Discussion forums and user-generated content

We reserve the right to modify, add, or remove services at any time without prior notice.

06Payment & Pricing

• All prices are in Indian Rupees (INR) and include applicable taxes (GST)
• Payment is processed securely through Razorpay or PayU payment gateways
• Once payment is completed for a paid course, no refunds are allowed (see our Return & Refund Policy)
• Paid courses provide lifetime access to content
• We may update course prices at any time without prior notice
• Discounts and promotional offers are valid only for the specified period

07Intellectual Property Rights

RAZO Ownership:

• All course content, videos, texts, graphics, logos, and software are owned by RAZO or our licensors
• Content is protected by Indian copyright law and international treaties
• You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works without permission
• You may not record, screen-capture, or share course content with others

Your License:

• You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and use RAZO services for personal educational purposes
• This license does not include resale, commercial use, or public distribution

08User Conduct & Restrictions

When using RAZO, you agree NOT to:

• Use the platform for any illegal purpose or violate any laws
• Upload or share content that is obscene, offensive, hateful, or discriminatory
• Harass, threaten, or harm other users
• Impersonate anyone or misrepresent your identity
• Share your account credentials with others
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to RAZO systems or servers
• Use automated bots, scrapers, or hacks to access content
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any RAZO software
• Use RAZO for political campaigning, spam, or commercial advertising
• Upload viruses, malware, or malicious code
• Share copyrighted content you do not own

Violation of these rules may result in immediate account termination without refund.

09User-Generated Content

If you submit content to RAZO (quiz responses, assignments, forum posts, comments):

• You retain ownership of your content
• You grant RAZO a non-exclusive license to display, store, and use your content on the platform
• You are responsible for ensuring your content does not violate others' rights
• RAZO reserves the right to remove any content that violates these terms
• RAZO may moderate or remove content without prior notice

You agree not to submit content that infringes copyright, contains private information about others, or violates any laws.

10RAZO AI Usage

• RAZO AI is an educational tool and should not be used for medical, legal, or financial advice
• AI responses are generated based on training data and may not always be accurate
• You should verify important information from authoritative sources
• RAZO is not liable for any decisions made based on AI-generated content
• AI usage may be logged to improve response quality (see Privacy Policy)

11Privacy & Data Protection

Your use of RAZO is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal information. By using RAZO, you consent to the data practices described in the Privacy Policy.

We comply with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP Act) and applicable Indian data protection laws.

12Account Deletion

You may request deletion of your account at any time. See our Account Deletion Policy for details on:

• How to request deletion
• What data is deleted vs. retained
• Deletion timeline and cooling-off period
• Effect on purchased courses and certificates

Account deletion is permanent and irreversible after the cooling-off period.

13Termination

By You: You may stop using RAZO and request account deletion at any time.

By RAZO: We may suspend or terminate your account immediately if you:

• Violate these Terms and Conditions
• Engage in fraudulent, illegal, or harmful activity
• Use the platform for spam, abuse, or unauthorized commercial purposes
• Provide false or misleading information
• Threaten the security or integrity of RAZO services

14Disclaimer of Warranties

RAZO is provided "as is" and "as available" without any warranties, express or implied. We do not warrant that:

• RAZO will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free
• Results obtained from RAZO will be accurate or reliable
• The quality of content will meet your expectations
• Any errors in the platform will be corrected

You acknowledge that your use of RAZO is at your own risk.

15Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by Indian law:

• RAZO shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages
• Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid to RAZO (if any) in the last 6 months
• RAZO is not liable for any loss of profits, data, or business opportunities
• We are not responsible for third-party services, links, or content
• We are not liable for any educational outcomes or results from using our courses

16Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless RAZO, its founders, employees, and partners from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including legal fees) arising from:

• Your use of RAZO services
• Your violation of these Terms and Conditions
• Your infringement of any third-party rights
• Your user-generated content

17Third-Party Links & Services

RAZO may contain links to third-party websites or services (e.g., payment gateways, social media). We:

• Do not control and are not responsible for third-party content
• Do not endorse any third-party services
• Are not liable for any damages from using third-party services
• Encourage you to review their terms and privacy policies

18Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms and Conditions periodically. When we make changes:

• The "Last Updated" date will be revised
• We will notify registered users via email or in-app notification for significant changes
• Continued use of RAZO after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms
• Previous versions will be archived for reference

We encourage you to review these terms periodically.

19Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of India, including:

• Indian Contract Act, 1872
• Information Technology Act, 2000
• Consumer Protection Act, 2019
• Copyright Act, 1957
• Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP Act)

Any disputes arising from these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts in Maharashtra, India.

20Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect. The invalid provision will be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it enforceable while preserving its original intent.

21Waiver

Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms does not constitute a waiver. Any waiver must be in writing and signed by an authorized representative of RAZO.

22Entire Agreement

These Terms and Conditions, together with our Privacy Policy, Return & Refund Policy, and Account Deletion Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and RAZO regarding your use of our services and supersede all prior agreements or understandings.
